City Coyote

Coyote  by the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, AB (Canada), December 9, 2010

MSc student, Josh Maxwell, caught this little fellow by surprise while out taking pictures of freeze-up in Edmonton.  You can see the surface texture of the frozen pans under the snow on the river in the background.  I’ll admit though, the coyote is much more interesting!
